I’m asking for prayer during a very emotional and uncertain time in my life. I am currently pregnant with my first child, a baby boy, and what should be one of the most joyful seasons has also become one of the most challenging. My boyfriend, the father of my child, has recently been incarcerated, and there is a possibility he may not be present for the birth of our son. I ask that you please keep me in your prayers for strength, peace of mind, and a healthy pregnancy and delivery. Pray that I am covered in comfort and supported as I prepare to bring my son into the world, even through these difficult circumstances.

I also ask for prayers for my child’s father. Please pray that God works within him, speaks to his heart, and guides him in the right direction. Pray that this situation becomes a turning point in his life and that there is a turning point before he goes to trail so he does come home, pray that he finds clarity, growth, and the strength to become the father I know he is capable of being. I pray that God grants him grace, mercy, and favor, and that he uses this time to reflect, mature, and come back stronger for his son.

Most importantly, I ask for continued covering over my baby that he is born healthy, surrounded by love, and grows up with the guidance, protection, and presence of God in his life.
