My prayer request is for my mother and father. Last year, my mother, Shela Goree, suffered a stroke and is now battling post-stroke depression. I pray for her healing, that she regains strength in her right arm and finds peace in her heart. May God bless her with renewed hope and comfort during this difficult time. Before the stroke, my mother was very active in church. She attended several Bible studies, sat on the Mother's Board of her church, and was very active in her guild. She loves God! But lately, she has been unwilling to move from the couch and stop watching television. I miss my mom, and it's hard to see her in this state. I want to fix her so bad, but I know that I can't, and I know who can. God, I trust you and the process. I BELIEVE that you are the God that late in the midnight hour you can turn it around. It can work in her favor. I BELIEVE you God for a miracle. You can do exceeding and abundantly more than I can ask. I also ask for strength and health for my father, her caregiver, as he supports her, and for them to feel God’s loving presence in their lives. Amen.
