I made it through the second week of the police academy and I’m asking for strength and discipline to stay focused and push myself to the max this week. I’ve cried almost everyday but I know this is making me stronger and I’m doing this for my family and to make a difference in my community.
Zion family, My friend Shon has asked that we please pray for her mom Ms Juanita. She has an infection in the bone of her foot. She is now going to rehab. Thank you so very much for your prayers.
Please pray that my husband is delivered of alcohol dependency. He even has medication but won’t take it consistently, so it’s really tough!!
Also our Finances: My husband (61) is self-employed, but business is very slow (he can’t find laborers for projects like he used to due to the current administration). He can normally secure Construction Project Manager jobs for addtl income, but he’s been applying DAILY on all the platforms (Indeed, Monster) for months and nothing has come thru. I’m thankful for my job as a paraeducator over 10 yrs but I don’t make enough in the school system to really help enough. In 33 yrs of marriage he’s always been the main breadwinner. I secure the health benefits. Finances are in SEVERE jeopardy…rent, cars (we look out the window daily to ensure our cars weren’t repossessed.), BGE and more. We’ve had slow times before but never ever this bad. I’m gonna file bankruptcy for myself, but don’t even have money to do that. We’ve already used funds from our 401k and 403b accts. All of the financial problems causes my husband to drink more. He also needs a therapist but we’ve been unable to find a good fit though we’ve tried for over a year.

Lord, I thank you, and I have cooperatively prayed with many bro and sisters for a Job. I pray Father, open the heavens that our prayers may reach you. Have mercy and grant me the grace to be considered for a job today. Holy Spirit, help me to stand and see my miracles and give strength to give a testimony before you, my God and Jesus my savior, Amen
I want to thank Zion Church prayer warriors for praying for my coworker's daughter, Jasmine Easter, 4th year Meharry Medical Student. She took the Step test for the third time on September 12th and passed. Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus!
God is so good. I was in Dallas yesterday and Jasmine's mother was sitting in my chair at my desk when her daughter called. We cried, praised God, and hugged it out.
Her mother said, tell Zion Church that my words are inadequate to express my feelings of gratitude for their prayers.

Last night i dreamed about someone an old friend of me, that he has died and I cried in the dream. I have never cried in the dream before and today we received a news that my younger brother has fell off the bike, and his in the hospital. And my father the way he drinks since 2009 up to now, it's not like a common one, its beyond normal or like others since then he has been in debt a slave like. makes me wonder, if he is under something.
